There are two groups of coverage: Worker with a disability, and Worker with a Medically Improved Disability. Program website. adultBasic promotes access to quality care by providing basic health insurance to Pennsylvania citizens age 19 through 64 who need it but cannot afford it. It's intended to provide transitional health insurance for adults who: have incomes below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines (approximately $17,000 for a single adult); who may have jobs that do not include health benefits; or who are in between jobs.
